Cast: Humberto Busto, Petr Filimonov, Miry Rodríguez, Elliot Roy Rensky, Dilan Rivera

A gay hookup app becomes the unlikely bridge between two exiled souls in the sun-scorched sands of Playas de Tijuana. One is a young Russian queer man who bolted from his homeland rather than be forced into the military machine of the Ukraine conflict—his very identity making him a target. The other is a middle-aged gay local, still wrestling with the suffocating weight of Northern Mexico’s hyper-masculine culture. Online, they wear clever digital masks, spinning fantasies to shield their true selves. But when they finally swap pixels for real-world contact, the fragile distance collapses. Standing face-to-face on the beach, they must confront the raw, unhealed fractures of their separate displacements—and discover that exile leaves scars no filter can hide.
