Puca (2026)

One hot summer afternoon in the mid-90s, with their parents dozing off, two sisters—who go by the playful nicknames Lotti and Malibù—quietly slip out to a neighborhood hangout where their shared crush usually kicks back. But their youngest sibling, Puca, refuses to be left behind, threatening to throw a screaming fit that would wake the whole house unless they take her along. The trio heads out, and as they stroll past the shoreline, Puca wanders toward the surf and swears she spots a mermaid in the water. At the bar, the older girls get caught up in their own teenage drama and momentarily misplace Puca. What follows is a frantic search that sparks an honest heart-to-heart, melting the tension between them. Just then, a shimmering tail breaks the surface—and vanishes—leaving them with a haunting vision that marks the end of their innocent youth. When they rush home to wake their parents with the unbelievable news, nothing could prepare them for what awaits.
