Crabkind (2026)

A trove of forgotten film and recordings resurrects the story of a marine biologist who vanished without a trace in the Po Delta. Pieced together through archival footage, photographs, documents, and a fateful meeting with an enigmatic local girl, her groundbreaking study of the blue crab emerges—a scientific pursuit that quietly morphs into a meditation on transformation, survival, and the blurry line separating humankind from the animal kingdom. Could the very research she devoted herself to have sealed her fate?
