Determination (2026)

A bold, experimental dive into the clash between highbrow and lowbrow art. It opens with a stark, almost desolate slideshow of Almaty’s architecture, accompanied by a robotic French voice droning in the background. Then, the director breaks into a dance as on-screen text offers its own interpretations and theories. It all culminates in a vivid visual collage that fuses clips from indie web series, French New Wave classics, archival Cannes footage, and personal shots of milk being microwaved.
