Mystery Science Theater 3000: The RiffTrax Experiments — Sting of Death (2026)
Cast: Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy, Bill Corbett, Mary Jo Pehl
The legacy of *Mystery Science Theater* is practically built on gloriously awful creature suits—but even by those rock-bottom standards, *Sting of Death* might scrape the very bottom of the rubber barrel. If you remember the Season 2 MST3K gem *Wild Rebels*, you already know director William Grefé’s knack for bargain-bin cinema. The good news? He made this dripping, stinging oddity *before* that, so by the time *Wild Rebels* rolled around, he was practically a seasoned auteur. As a cherry on top of this bizarre sundae, the film gifts us with the gloriously goofy “Do The Jellyfish,” penned by none other than Songwriters Hall of Famer Neil Sedaka. Does that tune really deserve not one, but two drawn-out dance breaks? Almost certainly not. But beware—it’s the kind of catchy earworm that’ll be swimming laps in your brain long after the final frame fades.
