The Nizhny Novgorod Youth Theatre company prepares a production of William Gibson's “The Miracle Worker.” To capture true emotion, the performers step beyond the stage and into the raw experiences of blindness and deafness. Their journey leads them into the actual life of a boy named Petya, alongside his mother and teacher. As scenes from the play mirror the real struggle of teaching a deaf-blind child, the cast discovers that truth holds deeper layers and tougher challenges than any script could write.
