Set in a conventional Maharashtrian home, *Na Aavadti Goshta* follows the upheaval when one of two sisters reveals her queer identity. Her heartfelt confession sends tremors through the family’s established norms, forcing them to face deeply rooted taboos and prejudices. The story traces the evolving bond between the sisters, while their parents shift from initial resistance to genuine, heartfelt acceptance. Rather than leaning on tragedy or external hostility, the film adopts a warm, slice-of-life comedy tone, showing how love and empathy can heal generational rifts. At its core, it highlights the irreplaceable power of family support in the lives of LGBTQIA+ individuals.
