Double Panther (2026)

Inspired by real events, this gripping story unfolds in 1970s Jerusalem, where Yaakov Elbaz, newly freed from prison, is enlisted by the police to go undercover inside the Black Panthers, a protest movement made up of Sephardi Jews of Middle Eastern descent. What starts as a mission to spy on the group slowly turns into something far more personal as Elbaz grows close to its members and begins to understand and share their ideals. Caught between his police handlers and his deepening ties to the cause, he is pulled into a perilous double life that could ultimately destroy everything he has.
