Knowing Gaze (2026)

Knowing Gaze is an affectionate satire of gay culture, an animated short that weaves through interconnected vignettes with fluid energy—from curated online personas to real-world hookups, and from thrift-store finds to dance-floor revelry to bathhouse encounters. Told through vivid, expressive brushwork, the film unfolds via frank exchanges, sharp-tongued banter, and raw inner monologues. At its heart, it explores the tenderness and tension of modern gay identity, where laughter and longing coexist; beneath countless witty one-liners, a deeper emotional cry rises.
