At twenty-one, Sarah walks away from the ultra-Orthodox community only to discover she’s pregnant and completely on her own. With no stable roof over her head, she moves from one temporary apartment to the next, her evolving body steering her life in unexpected directions. Motherhood pushes her to reckon with the past she fought to escape and to face the person she’s becoming. Across five years, Sarah fights to carve out a new sense of self and search for a place where she can finally belong.
