In the coastal city of Ashkelon, 38-year-old Mali Azulai works as a bus inspector, but a violent clash with a teenage passenger has put her job on the line. Returning to an empty bus to grab her forgotten body camera, she stumbles upon an abandoned infant on the floor—and impulsively brings him home. Her brother Shimon, a 32-year-old prison guard trapped in a crumbling marriage, soon joins her, and the two barricade themselves with the child. The baby’s presence reopens deep, buried wounds of their own childhood abandonment, forcing long-hidden family secrets to surface.
