Let Us Be (2026)

An eye-opening documentary journeys across India, Brazil, and the United States to share the deeply personal lives of Intersex people—those born with biological traits that don’t fit standard definitions of male or female. Through their own powerful narratives, the film uncovers a persistent human rights battle against unnecessary, non-consensual surgeries on intersex children, and challenges the strict male-female categories that dominate how we view sex and gender. Let Us Be calls on viewers to rethink the rules society forces onto bodies and identities, delivering a heartfelt meditation on bodily autonomy, inherent dignity, and the stunning richness of human variation.
