White Musk (2026)

Inspired by the director's own life, *White Musk* delves into the emotional turmoil of a child forced into the role of a parent. When her mother, Suraya, is struck by a severe illness, 19-year-old Hiba steps up as the primary caretaker, while her older brother, Hisham, drifts through the home untouched by the weight of duty. The film captures a raw, intimate dance between Hiba and Suraya—equal parts love and hurt—a cycle of affection and friction neither can escape. As Suraya’s health declines, Hiba faces a profound challenge: how to nurture someone who resists being helped, and the personal toll that relentless devotion exacts on her own soul.
