Wife Wife (2026)

Two femme queer women exchange vows on a sunlit beach, sealing their marriage with joy. A trio of cishet men approaches and offers congratulations. As the couple thanks them, the men suggest sharing a drink and casually add, “Go grab your husbands.” That casual, heteronormative remark pulls the wives into a vibrant, hyper-queer-affirming realm, filled with queer couples glowing in their wedding finest. To join these radiant, empowered souls, the wives must first confront and conquer their own deeply ingrained colonial and heteronormative insecurities.
