Becoming Home (2026)

Spanning five years of documentary fieldwork, *Taoyuan Aerotropolis* captures Taiwan's shifting military and economic landscape from postwar recovery to the present day—all unfolding on reclaimed ocean land. Through a “historical image action” approach, the film bears witness to the final traces of homeland memory as they are leveled to the ground, while tracing the emotional journeys of displaced residents as they rebuild their lives and return to new homes.
