ARCHAEOLOGY OF UNBORN FACES is an 8-minute 2026 science-fiction mystery short written and directed by Zeki Yahya. Set inside the latent space of an algorithm, the film follows an artificial system attempting to reconstruct the perfect human face while confronting forgotten memories and the painful process behind its creation.
The project combines speculative science fiction with experimental visual ideas about artificial intelligence, memory, beauty, and identity. Its very short running time allows the concept to be expressed as a concentrated audiovisual thought experiment rather than a traditional feature narrative.
