What started as a throwaway collection of jokes too odd for other specials unexpectedly evolved into “Pick-Me Nihilism”—a tight, polished, and genuinely hilarious comedy set. In terms of energy, it channels the laid-back, unfiltered spirit of my all-time favorite, “40 Minutes of Sex With Yourself.” There’s a chill, goofy vibe here with zero pretense—just jokes spanning every topic imaginable. I love that some bits are flat-out dumb or crass, with no attempt to dress them up with theater, orchestras, or high-stakes drama. Forget Tarkovsky—this is pure, unapologetic stand-up.
