Mudville (2026)

At 47 and freshly unemployed, Ray Patterson spends his lonely days launching baseballs at a local park—clinging to a fading dream of rejoining the Atlanta Apaches, the major league team that once signed him in his youth. Alcohol ruined that shot in his early twenties, and the bottle still haunts his every move. Now, Ray is tormented by visions of what he believes are Native American spirits and dark supernatural forces, all conspiring to bury his ambitions for good. When a strange metaphysical event threatens to unravel his very existence, his family watches helplessly from the sidelines. Meanwhile, his wife, Holly, seeks solace in suburban witchcraft and the cosmic guidance of Tarot cards, searching for answers the real world can't provide.
