The ring of Kalbe (2026)
Der Ring von Kalbe
Loosely based on the legend of the Alvensleben ring, this film unfolds in uninterrupted single-shot scenes across various Kalbe locations. Each sequence drifts like a fractured memory, jumping between different centuries. Period reenactments blend seamlessly with present-day details. Three brothers rule over Kalbe’s modern-day “kingdoms”—its supermarkets—until their rivalry spirals into ruin.
