In *Myeong Wol*, a body undergoes violent erasure—severed, submerged, scorched, interred, and vaporized—only to bloom again as *eumhwa* within a dream. *Eumhwa* represents the erotic, the negative, and the hidden narrative. Part One follows the colonial-era courtesan’s form, probing the sensuality of gossip through metaphors of peach, parasite, and cinema. Part Two reimagines 79 experimental films as discovered negative footage. Merging digital and celluloid media, the piece allows the lost body’s *eumhwa* to unfurl.
