Woo-jin travels to the secluded neighborhood of Amidong, searching for a vanished film director who disappeared while trying to obtain a mysterious video. Along the way, he crosses paths with the assistant director and uncovers the story of Park Chun-bong. The earlier movie, *A Carpenter Catching a Whale*, was abruptly scrapped. Skeptical that a student could have created something so extraordinary, Woo-jin dismisses the possibility—until he finds himself face-to-face with a fantasy he refused to believe in, suddenly coming to life before his eyes.
