Femení, singular is a Spanish social drama centered on Nayeli, a young Mexican woman working as a domestic worker in Barcelona. When an unexpected event changes her circumstances, she begins fighting to regain control of her life and challenge the limits placed on her by society.

The film approaches its themes through an intimate character portrait, focusing on dignity, class, gender, migration, and personal independence. Xavi Puebla keeps the story grounded in everyday experience while giving Nayeli's transformation the emotional center of the film.
