Dance Film (2026)

Flipping the script on experimental dance filmmaking, this inventive animated short shifts the spotlight from the performer to the observer, guided by filmmaker Kelly. By turning the lens toward the audience, the piece explores the layered nature of observation, inviting viewers to reflect on their own position within the act of watching. Yet beneath its conceptual depth lies a warmly vibrant tale of an elated toddler utterly enchanted by her mother’s fluid routines, proving that sometimes the most profound moments in independent animation come down to pure, unfiltered joy.
