On March 12, 1998, in Germany, a camera captures a deeply personal milestone as Agron and Fitnete hold their freshly issued marriage certificates. Gathered around them, their family offers warm, emotional wishes and greetings meant for relatives still in Kosovo. What starts as a joyful celebration, however, gradually takes on a heavier tone, as the conversation drifts to the growing troubles back home, and the room fills with quiet fear and unanswered questions.
