A Statement (2026)
Director: Tom McCarthy
Cast: Paul Rudd, Paul Giamatti, Evan Peters, Amy Ryan, John Turturro
In 1980, at a Florida beachside resort, twenty specialists convene for a weekend summit on an emerging global concern: how carbon dioxide emissions are reshaping the climate. Scientists, activists, and policy leaders arrive with a straightforward congressional assignment—draft a statement outlining what should be done. Simple in theory, far trickier in practice.
