At a no-nonsense cleaning firm, Heike juggles her team’s daily battles, the relentless push for flawless results, and the impossible task of pleasing both clients and her boss. Everything shifts when a powerful subcontractor lays down an ultimatum: give his crew more assignments—or lose his backing entirely. Cornered, Heike realizes the only way to meet his demand is to let one of her own people go. With the walls closing in, she must confront just how far she’ll bend under the brutal weight of the job.

More About This Film

I Understand Your Displeasure is a German workplace drama centered on Heike, a manager at an understaffed cleaning company who becomes caught between employees, clients, and a demanding subcontractor. Kilian Armando Friedrich presents the story as a closely observed social drama about labor, power, and dignity.
