Closing Time (2026)

Closing Time centers on Mo, a talented undocumented immigrant who works at his uncle’s kebab shop while concealing his culinary aspirations. His world shifts when he meets Laila, a thoughtful attorney stuck in a lifeless engagement. As their bond deepens through after-hours talks and shared time in the kitchen, Laila urges Mo to chase his cooking dreams, while he quietly pushes her to face the comfortable but unfulfilling life she has accepted.
