Sœurs et demie is a French-Belgian television crime drama directed by Bénédicte Delmas. It follows police officer Anaïs Marchini, whose solitary life changes dramatically when she discovers that she has an eleven-year-old half-sister and becomes responsible for her.
When Anaïs investigates the apparent suicide of a medical student, her gifted young sister Gabrielle becomes an unexpected partner. The combination of police investigation and an unconventional sibling relationship gives the film a lighter, character-driven approach to crime storytelling.
Sœurs et demie is available through French public television's streaming service in supported territories.
