Dream High (2026)

A Hebrew-language rock opera meets teen movie nostalgia, this film is a full-rhyme adaptation of Amit Ulman’s stage musical. It follows Yoav, a teenager living with his single mother as she struggles to make ends meet, after they relocate to a new town. Enrolling at Magshimih High, Yoav discovers a world where words carry more weight than fists—and your social rank is decided by your lyrical skill. After being humiliated in a rap battle by the reigning "class king," Yoav sets out to prove his worth and win the affections of Maya, the "class queen." His path crosses with Hamorabi, a legendary rapper in hiding who works undercover as the school’s kiosk cashier. Under his mentorship, Yoav rises from outsider to champion of the rap battles. Yet as his fame grows, he drifts from the friends who had his back, the girl who truly saw him, and the raw authenticity Hamorabi taught him. At the National Rap Championship, Yoav must decide: chase the blinding spotlight of fame or hold onto who he really is.
