Khadam is a Malaysian supernatural horror film centered on Melor, a mute woman living in an isolated village with her children and a seriously ill mother. After a disturbing family loss, Melor is forced to confront a supernatural presence inherited through generations.
The film draws on Malay and Southeast Asian folklore surrounding the khadam, an entity traditionally associated with protection and service but also with dangerous obligations. Shamyl Othman combines village drama, family tension, and supernatural horror to build a story rooted in cultural tradition rather than a generic haunted-house setting.
Khadam had a Malaysian theatrical rollout, with digital availability depending on regional distribution agreements.
