Super Nature (2026)

Super Nature is an immersive nature documentary created entirely from footage shot on Super 8 film. Rather than sending a conventional wildlife crew around the world, filmmaker Ed Sayers invited contributors to film the natural world close to where they live, creating a collective portrait of landscapes, animals, and human connections to nature.

The project spans continents and combines intimate observations with a carefully constructed score and sound design. Its deliberately analog visual style gives the film the texture of home movies while its international scope turns individual observations into a much larger environmental portrait.
