Treasure Island (2026)

It’s the summer of 1993, and twelve-year-old Marthe is done with the world she’s been handed. Tired of the Haitian roots she and her brother can’t seem to shake, she persuades him to ditch their life and hit the road. When the duo links up with their cousins in a local park, the group spends the day dreaming up wild futures far from their past. Yet, as the sun drags on, it hits them one by one: the very culture they’re running from is the invisible thread holding them all together. What starts as a getaway turns into a raw, sun-soaked lesson about identity, family, and the ties you can’t outrun.
