Nestled in the western reaches of the Czech Republic lies the picturesque spa town of Karlovy Vary—a place that exists only in the mind of filmmaker Sung-Jae until his script finally wins accolades and secures full production funding. It’s a dream come true, all at once. After wrapping up domestic shoots, the only remaining hurdle is a week of filming on location in that idyllic Czech setting. But then disaster strikes: the entire budget has vanished into thin air. Faced with the terrifying prospect of repaying every cent, Sung-Jae must pull off the impossible—finish the film without ever setting foot in Karlovy Vary.
