Memoirs Found in a Bathtub (2026)

In Stanisław Lem’s novel of the same name, a devastating paper-eating plague wiped out nearly all of Earth’s recorded knowledge—sparing only the contents of that very book. This film explores a parallel, yet unnamed, future, one that may not be as far off as Lem’s imagined 3140s. Within the debris of an unstable world, a voiceover recites fragments from the final surviving printed pages—possibly a journalist’s notes, a dream journal, or an unfinished manuscript.
