More About This Film

49 Miles More is a British buddy comedy about Max, an unhappy insurance salesman, and Doug, his energetic childhood friend. When their car breaks down with 49 miles still left in their journey to an annual university reunion, the mismatched pair decide to continue on foot.

The road-trip setup becomes an unexpectedly warm exploration of friendship, grief, getting older and the pressure of feeling stuck in life. Reece Henderson and Gregory Fung play the contrasting leads, with the film balancing deliberately silly situations against quieter emotional moments as the two friends reconnect during their long walk.
