Traces of Home (2026)

A young filmmaker turns the lens inward, confronting the buried wounds of her family's past by sitting down with her Mexican mother and Palestinian father to hear their harrowing passages into America. As public discourse grows ever more hostile toward Mexicans and Palestinians, she raises her camera to give voice to the sorrow woven through generations—grief that has quietly shaped the bonds and fractures within her own family. What emerges is a profound reflection on loss, mourning, and the healing that becomes possible when we finally face one another.
