On the Heights (2026)

The aftermath of a domestic suicide fractures the household, leaving mother Hae-sook and daughter Yoon-seul isolated in private waves of mourning. After years away, Yoon-seul’s return to the family home instantly exposes the chasm that has grown between them. Sharing the same roof but existing in parallel emotional states, they are tethered only by an unspoken trauma neither dares to voice. While Hae-sook fights her sorrow through frantic, self-sabotaging habits, Yoon-seul shields herself behind a wall of cold detachment. Everyday routines slowly unearth buried memories, reminding them of the tenuous link that refuses to snap. Just as a fragile peace takes hold, a sudden, unpredictable event shatters their stagnant routine, compelling both women to finally face the unresolved pain lingering in the shadows.
