Geister (2026)

Geister, released internationally as Ghost Song, is a poetic romantic drama about two young people whose connection continues after death separates them. Farasha and Faris meet at a graduation celebration, but their story takes an extraordinary turn when Farasha finds a way to enter Faris's dreams.

The film uses fantasy to approach grief, first love, and the desire to hold on to someone who is gone. Its dream structure creates a space where emotional memory and the supernatural overlap, allowing director Fatih Akin to explore mourning through a visually distinctive and intimate style.
