This Is Our City (2026)

This Is Our City is a low-budget crime comedy built as a mockumentary. The son of a mob boss hires a film crew to document his rise in the underworld, only to discover that the supposed filmmakers are actually undercover FBI agents.

After his father is arrested, Bill and his associate Frankie attempt to hold their criminal operation together, creating a deliberately chaotic mix of gangster conventions, awkward improvisation, and documentary-style humor. The result plays with the distance between how criminals imagine themselves and how ridiculous they can appear from the outside.
