A brother and sister, Ali and Zahra, strike a pact to hide the disappearance of Zahra’s shoes—the very pair Ali had taken to be fixed. Their solution? They secretly share Ali’s battered sneakers. Zahra races home each morning after school so Ali can dash off to his afternoon classes in the same worn-out footwear. Everything changes when Ali hears about an upcoming school race: third place wins a brand-new pair of shoes. Fueled by hope, he enters the competition, driven by one goal—winning those shoes for his sister.
