Slackers (2026)

A slingshot is pulled taut, a stone arcs through the air, and shatters the neighbor’s window. Ramona and Nico are jobless best friends, drifting through life after school. Rather than planning ahead, they surrender to the sweltering Berlin summer. When they accidentally set a neighbor’s beloved bird free, their careless fun turns into a frantic escape—straight into the tense, politically charged world they’ve always ignored. What follows is a gritty, on-foot road trip across Berlin, where every step pulls them deeper into a reality they never wanted to face.
