The Scout (2026)

As a New York City location scout for an upcoming TV pilot, Sofia is tasked with tracking down the homes, storefronts, and outdoor settings that will bring the show to life. Roaming across the city’s neighborhoods, she gains access to strangers’ private worlds—photographing inviting apartments and one-of-a-kind shops while balancing the unpredictable demands of her bosses. Across a single day of these intimate encounters, Sofia observes flashes of curiosity, vulnerability, and unspoken tension, until her assignment swerves into deeply personal territory.
