Knife: The Attempted Murder of Salman Rushdie (2026)

In 2022, Salman Rushdie was set to speak about America as a refuge for writers when an attacker stormed the stage and, within just 27 seconds, stabbed him 15 times. Airlifted to a hospital, Rushdie narrowly survived. His wife, Rachel Eliza Griffiths, began recording right away, creating an intimate, unvarnished portrait of his recovery, his gradual return to life, and the way he reclaimed his resilience and optimism for the future.
