After a bitter fallout over a sexuality-fueled clash, pansexual Nate hasn’t exchanged a single word with his straight brother Ged in over four years. But when their mother passes away, the estranged siblings are forced to bury the hatchet and honor her final request: a cross-country ash-scattering road trip across half of Australia. As they barrel through the outback, it becomes brutally clear that the journey is far from easy. Their simmering resentment and a cascade of disastrous mishaps constantly threaten to derail their mission—and maybe even destroy what little family bond they have left.
