Spades (2026)

Spades is a 2026 American action crime thriller written and directed by Johnny Yong Bosch. The story follows a combat-scarred detective who investigates a series of vigilante murders connected by skull-branded playing cards.

The investigation becomes increasingly personal when the detective's daughter disappears and evidence points toward a trafficking network intertwined with the killings and his own past. The playing-card imagery gives the film a distinctive visual motif while the investigation drives the action.

Bosch also stars in the film, supported by Jason Narvy and an ensemble of independent performers.
