Brown Sheep (2026)

At sixteen, Jamila is caught between the weight of memory and the whirlwind of growing up. As she steers through the halls of a mostly white high school, she’s also on a personal quest to embrace her natural curls—a journey that feels both fierce and fragile. All the while, the echo of her late mother’s voice guides her, turning every mirror into a conversation about identity, resilience, and the quiet power of loving the skin—and hair—you’re in.
