The moment Clémence understands she’s never been truly admired, she loses her father. Haunted by the fading echoes of a tangled childhood, she is forced to piece together a sense of self-worth she never imagined could sink so low. Then destiny crosses her path with Paul—known to all as Paul Pot for his overbearing, controlling ways—and Clémence faces the one question that truly counts: could he possibly be the one?
