Bernd - Operation Germanenkind (2025)

Bernd - Operation Germanenkind is a German dark comedy that follows Bernd, a performer with special support needs working within a Berlin theater collective. While the group rehearses a politically provocative production, the boundaries between acting, ideology, and reality begin to become increasingly difficult to control.

The film combines uncomfortable comedy with social and political drama, examining inclusion, manipulation, and the consequences of treating disturbing ideas as theatrical material. Its unusual premise comes from a stage project and preserves a deliberately confrontational theatrical energy.
