More About This Film

Fuse is a Brazilian drama about two teenagers whose violent act leaves a homeless woman dead and forces the adults around them to confront an unbearable moral question: protect the children or let the truth take its course.

The film uses the aftermath of a crime to examine privilege, responsibility, family loyalty, and the pressures that can distort a person's sense of justice. Its compact 101-minute running time gives the story a focused, tense shape rather than a sprawling crime saga.

  • Directed by Rebeca Diniz and Pedro Waddington.
  • Written by Sérgio Goldenberg.
  • The film runs 101 minutes and is in Portuguese.
  • It was presented in the 2026 Guadalajara International Film Festival catalogue and was listed with one IMDb award nomination.
