Mile End Kicks (2026)

Mile End Kicks is a romantic comedy-drama about Grace Pine, a young music critic who moves to Montreal in 2011 intending to write a book about Alanis Morissette's album Jagged Little Pill. Her plans become complicated when she becomes romantically involved with two members of an aspiring indie band and unexpectedly takes a job promoting them.

Barbie Ferreira leads the film as Grace, with Devon Bostick and Stanley Simons playing the musicians at the center of the story. Chandler Levack uses Montreal's indie-music culture as a lively backdrop for a coming-of-age story about ambition, artistic identity and the messy transition into adulthood.
